​​​My name is Yarimar "Yari" Rodas and I'm a video producer/editor with over 10 years of experience shooting and editing corporate, educational, and entertainment videos. I was born and raised in Carolina, Puerto Rico, and attended the University of Puerto Rico in Río Piedras for two years before I moved to California in 2003 to complete my studies in film and video production. I have a master's degree in Media Studies from California State University, Los Angeles, and currently work in the fields of education and information technology as a multimedia production specialist. In my current position, I am in charge of video production, editing, live streaming, and motion graphics. I also produce a podcast about IT topics for which I workout all aspects of sound production.

Throughout my career I've worked as an independent producer, shooting and editing videos for educators, entrepreneurs, musicians, and dancers, and have also worked in independent productions as Assistant Camera, Director of Photography, Editor and Digital Image Technician. My experience has helped me develop long lasting connections with other creatives with whom I also collaborate and have prepared me to handle many aspects of pre-production, production and post production.

I strive to provide quality multimedia services and techniques for brand building and audience engagement. I am also an educator in Media Studies and Cultural Studies, passionate about diversity in film and media, and working to expand the presence of people of color in it.
